I belong to three different dating websites: A higher priced one, a medium priced one and a low priced one.

When I recently joined the low priced website, I thought that I would get a lot of activity because the low price would make the site more attractive.  But, what I have noticed is that I get the most correspondence off of the high priced website and no correspondence off of the low priced website.  And, even though I am sent a lot of matches on the low priced websites, I get no response back from my emails.

I suspect that cost is the biggest reason why one site works well but the other site doesn’t.  In short, the  women who are serious about dating are willing to pay for the high priced website, where as those who are only curious about dating will only spring for the low priced website.

I guess this is a case where “money talks and….”
