God Wants Us To Be Together!

I  once dated a woman who was sure that God had brought us together and that we were meant for each other.  Then, one night after we had supper, she announced that we were through so I was a little surprised.  But, whatever!  So, I wished her the best on finding some one and retrieved her slippers from the closet.

Life goes on.

Dating Profiles And Other Lies!

A woman that I work with was complaining that the guy she was dating claimed to be 55.  In actuality, she found out that he was 69!  So, I asked her how old she claimed to be and she said “42”.  In all actuality, she is 52.

I guess there is no honor amongst thieves or liars.

Pen Pals.

To my amazement, some women are only interested in having pen pals.  They exchange emails and carry on lite conversations.  But, they don’t seem to be interested in meeting.

One woman, in particular, was very excited at the prospect of knowing me.  She quickly breezed through the dating web site questions. She then sent me her email address and telephone number before we had even met even though most women are hesitant to do that.  In fact, she was constantly sending me her email address and telephone number.  But, when I suggested that we meet for supper, I never heard from her again.

Go figure.

Chemistry, A Good Start But Not The End.

If you discover that you have chemistry with someone, that is great!  It is exciting!  It is electric!  It is certain disaster if you are not a good match!  That’s right, just because you have chemistry with some one doesn’t mean that you are meant for each other.  It only means that you are a good match genetically.

While chemistry may mean that you will have healthy babies, it doesn’t mean that you will be able to stand each other.  Making love may occupy an hour of your day and that is fine.  It is the other 23 hours that you have to worry about.

So, don’t let chemistry lead you down the wrong path.  Think with your mind and not your glands.
