For some women, a widower is an asset.  After all, the marriage ended because of death and not divorce.  So that would seem to indicate that the  man has some redeemable qualities.  But, for other women, a widower is a liability because she has to compete with someone who only exists in the heart and mind of the widower.

So, liability or asset?  I guess it depends on the self esteem of the woman.

While most women will tell me there first name, getting their last name is some what difficult.  Part of the problem is that they forget to give it to me and I forget to ask them.  But then again, sometimes it doesn’t matter because there will not be a second date.

“Hi, I Am A Recovering Breast Cancer Survivor!”  Those were the first few words out of my recent dates mouth.  She then asked me if that bothered me?   I told her “no” even though I was over whelmed.

She seemed very nice, but since my late wife died of cancer, I wasn’t sure if I was ready to deal with this. But, I gave it my best shot.

She then went on to describe her breast reconstruction surgery. They took flesh from her stomach and not her back to rebuild her breasts.  But, I wasn’t sure if she had breasts with nipples or just fat bumps.  She didn’t say and I didn’t ask. (it was a first date after all)

At this point in time, I knew that I needed to ask her out again.  Other wise, I would seem like a hypocrite.  So I did but she stood me up.

Well, OK!!
